Love This Plane Rob Kansas 11/20/2018 |
My brother in law and I flew this plane all summer. Fun, fun, fun. Not a better 3D foamy out there. As a beginner/novice, this plane taught me aerobatics. The real value though with buying this plane from Charger is Jay Turner. Jay was fantastic to talk with. He truly embraces the RC community. I plan on visiting Jay next time I have the family in So Cal. Won''t be the last plane I buy from Jay... |

Love this plane! Al Apex, NC 5/10/2012 |
This is my go to plane for just going to the field with a few battery packs and having some fun. Out of all my planes, this is the most enjoyable to fly. Hovers so well that people think I can actually fly (it aint me, its the plane...LOL) Flew this thing constantly for a few years until I got T-Boned while hovering by another plane. Took off all the components and bought the foam-only kit for $30 and I am up and running again! I will ALWAYS have one of these in my fleet! |

Best for 3D practice Richard California, USA 5/31/2010 |
This is my second Charger RC. After my first, I was lured into the built-up electric arena.. WHAT A MISTAKE! Built-up and covered 3D electrics simply do not hold up as well as 6mm Depron foam and they are usually heavier and MUCH harder to repair. Further, I did not find that a thick airfoiled wing flew better... quite the contrary!
Unfortunately, my second Charger (Fusion) was laid to rest today as I was practicing rolling circles and flew it into some power lines. OUCH! Chargers are tough.. but not THAT tough! I swore that whenever my Fusion was used up, I would immediately order another and that is exactly what I am about to do.
RC Sims are great, but nothing beats actually flying in the elements.
I own Real Flight, Aerofly Pro and everything from slow giant biplanes to a state of the art 44% Giles 202 w/3W157 on cans, and a Charger foamie is the absolute most bang for the buck! |

Glad I bought this one...! Rodger LV, NV, USA 3/27/2010 |
I don''t usually do reviews, but this is an unusually good airplane. I''m powering mine with a DualSky 2830CA-12 200W 3D motor, turning APC 10 or 11 X 4.7 Slow Fly props and using assorted 700-950MaH 11.1V batteries. It goes where you point it, and will do anything you can. :-) |
